020274 Right to Life meeting

Mrs. Jan Smith, founder of an organization dealing with pregnant teenagers, will speak to the Augusta chapter of the Maine Right to Life Committee Tuesday in the conference room of the Depositors Trust Building.

Mrs. Smith founded CONTACT, an organization devoted to helping teenaged boys and girls deal with "untimely parenthood," in mid summer of 1972.

The Auburn woman has spoken to 150 groups, ranging from grammar school classes to adult church and community clubs. She works independently of all other people and generally discusses individuals' needs to love and be loved.

The meeting is open to the public.
