"When we consider that women are treated as property, it is degrading to
women that we should treat our children as property to be disposed of as we see fit."
Women's Equality Day, Reformed will take place in White Plains on Thursday, August 26th at 11:30 am, the 84th Anniversary of Women's Suffrage (see pg. 3). It was in 1920 when the 19th Amendment to the Constitution gave women the right to vote and recognized their dignity as persons under the law. This act only began to remedy the insults and injuries experienced by women long denied a voice in society. The collective female consciousness about truths related to this sweet victory, however, has been radically altered. The last quarter of a century has seen an avalanche of pro-abortion rhetoric, law, and fetal corpses dominate. It is a pathetic irony that many women today cast their votes to again subjugate women - women in the womb. Is any female born possessed of a different nature outside the womb than in? Whv is a woman not valued during her most critical period of human development? Why is a woman's unique, formative voice of reason not being heard from the womb? Sisters champion instead her systematic annihilation.
