The Editorial morons wrote that the district shell game, was "... infuriating one of its most consistent critics."

Mr. Christe had said the board," had the nerve to increase spending on the night the deficit (a $1.5 million budget over-run) was announced." Mr. Christe then appropriately referred to the school board as the "lapdogs" of the cunning superintendent.

Now anyone who has watched the antics of the board for many years knows that what he said was true, except for the sycophants at the Patent Trader who wrote with a straight face,"...how hard it is to squeeze a nickel out of the program."

They continue with even more rubbish..."we have also found out that almost all the fat that can be squeezed out of a school budget comes out during the agonizing months before submission, when the board and administration exert themselves to produce something that will pass muster with the community."

This alone shows they have NEVER truly watched the budget process in action.

Showing their true intent they declare, that voting NO on the budget "too frequently can diminish property values in the district." Such nonsense.

Mr. Christe has done more to further education than all the pathetic scribes at the Patent Trader. Maybe some day they will have to make an honest living and stop serving up the tripe.
