062504 Peter Breslin is most qualified candidate for K-L School Board

I have lived in Lewisboro for the past 14 years. As the parent of three children, I have, like many who might read this note, been active in our community as a coach, scout leader, and school volunteer. I have met dozens of parents. In our community, we undoubtedly have an overwhelming pool of talented and dedicated people. Having said that, I really can't think of anyone I have met over the years more qualified to represent us on the Katonah-Lewisboro School Board than Peter Breslin.
I have known Peter for more than 10 years and have worked with him closely as a fellow member of the parent steering committee for the Vista Boy Scout programs. His energy, intellectual curiosity, and good judgment would be a great asset to any organization - especially the school board.
Peter is unfailingly gracious in his conversation and conduct, qualities I believe necessary, although sometimes overlooked, for leadership. Peter can analyze facts objectively, make right decisions, and advocate them clearly and strongly in a manner that is respectful, professional.
Perhaps most important, Pete has a great sense of humor, which is another useful quality to possess when serving on a volunteer, public organization.
My vote goes to Peter Breslin. Taking the time July 6 to vote for Peter is an investment that will pay large dividends for our community. Thanks, Peter, for stepping forward for this important position.
