SUBJECT: THE PSYCHO-SOCIAL ASPECTS OF ASSISTED SUICIDE:

Dr. Nieburg is currently the Director of Behavioral Medicine and Psycho-Oncology at Four Winds Hospital, Katonah, New York. His many teaching positions include Visiting Professor in Pastoral Psychology at the Jewish Theological Seminary, a faculty member of the Oncology Clergy Residency Program at Westchester County Medical Center, and Professor with the Art Therapy Faculty at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He is also a Consultant to Hospice of Westchester, White Plains.

The Hemlock Society advocates the option of physician-aid-in-dying for terminally ill persons. We envision our local group as an information-sharing and support group as well as an advocacy group. With input from those who attend this meeting, we hope to plan future gatherings at various locations throughout Westchester and Putnam Counties.
